August 14th - Searsport Historical Society Meeting at Curtis Hall on Church St. at 7pm Guest presentation by "Reproduction Period Furniture" maker Paul Rulli of Searsport, open meeting free to the public.


August 13-17 from 9-noon - Castle Camp  for children between the ages of 6 and 10 years.

Thursday, August 16 at 5:30 pm - The “Great War” in Review - The Penobscot Marine Museum hosts historian Paul Biddle as he provides insights into what led the United States to enter World War I at Penobscot Marine Museum’s Visitors Center located at 2 Church Street in Searsport. The cost is $5 for Museum members and Searsport and Stockton Springs residents and $8 for general admission. For more information call 207-548-2529.


The Class of 1973 is having a 45th Reunion on August 18th, 2 pm at Beth Clark Lockhart’s 410 East Main Street Searsport.
